Biography

A life spent at the intersection of story and spirit.

Rabbi Marc has spent decades at the intersection of faith, literature, and the human search for meaning. As a rabbi and educator, he has guided countless students and seekers through the questions that matter most — questions of identity, belonging, loss, and renewal.

His fiction grows directly from his teaching. The Strength of Shattered Glass began as a story he told in the classroom — a meditation on what it truly means to choose a faith, to convert to Judaism, and to rebuild a life around something ancient and alive. Over years of telling and retelling, the story deepened into the novel it is today.

Marc is also the author of Weddings By The Glass, a prequel novel that explores the same world and characters, and the children's book Oni and The Kingdom of Onion. Each work reflects his belief that story is one of the most powerful vehicles for spiritual truth.

He lives and teaches with the conviction that every person carries within them a story worth telling — and that the act of listening to another's story is itself a sacred act.
